WASHINGTON – Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Michael Steele today named Maryland RNC Committeeman and Budget Committee Chairman Louis Pope Treasurer of the Committee on Arrangements for the 2012 Republican National Convention and Indiana National Committeewoman Dee Dee Benkie RNC Members Finance Co-Chairwoman.

The Committee on Arrangements is charged with putting together the Republican National Convention that will be held in Tampa, FL in the week of August 27, 2012.  Louis has been a conscientious steward of donor money while serving as Chairman of the RNC Budget Committee and his exceptional qualifications will help make the Republican National Convention in Tampa a huge success.
